Since 2009, I’ve created unforgettable hand made art inspired by everything from graffiti, early 90's to present day anime, music and fashion that spans the entire universe. In 2018 I translated my talent and skill to creating digital art for individuals and businesses of all sizes. In 2020 I added the knowledge and skill of screen printing and currently screen print for small organizations, businesses or any individual who wants to see their vision come to life. Who I am
My name is Kortez Ellis. I'm a freehand artist, a graphic designer and a screen printer. I'm passionate about creating custom art for people, whether that's by hand or digitally. While I haven't screen printed for as long as I've been creating art, my screen printed work shows the desire to perfect my craft at printing anything in anyway possible. In the short amount of time that I've been printing, I've earned the best screen printer award in Northeast Arkansas in 2021 for the shop that I work at. I'm an introverted perfectionist and while those two elements of my personality may be a weakness to some, they're strengths to others.

I grew up on anime and got into art by trying to recreate what I watched. Of course while being 6 years old and just starting to draw, there was some horrible art and a huge learning curve but after a couple of years the progression was quicker than most at that age. I soon started to recreate exactly what was on my tv screen and came across one of most underrated forms of art. Graffiti.

Graffiti has been the pillar of what I envision art to be. There's all kinds of graffiti and street art that tell stories and people can express who they are by creating this magnificent form of art better than verbally telling you. That's what caught and still has my attention to this day. If anyone else feels this way about graffiti and street art, then you know that Hip Hop plays a huge role in this form of art.

After years of delving into music, anime and graffiti, I had a strong base and a very accurate eye about how I structured my art. I graduated high school and went on to college for Graphic Design at Arkansas State University. After completing courses in this field, I felt that the courses were taught in a "one size fits all" fashion and I knew I wasn't like everyone else. All of my talent and skill for art was honed at home before I attended college and my graphic design and screen printing skills were developed at home outside of classes as well. This gives you an idea of why I own being an introverted perfectionist.

I currently screen print for a local print shop and freelance graphic design outside of my day job.
